The promotion of clean city buses is increasing in Fujian province and electric buses have been in pilot operation in Xiamen, the fuel-electric hybrid power city buses have been introduced in Fuzhou for the first time. Also, clean city buses have been used in Putian, Pingtan and Xiamen Island with zero emission, low consumption as well as low noise. Since last May, 2500 new city buses have been operated, including 721 new energy city buses. Since 2011, more than 2000 buses will be referred to in Fujian province each year.
