The First 170 Chery City Buses Delivers to Wuhu

www.chinabuses.org: On 31 May 2011, the ceremony of rolling-off production line and delivery of Chery new energy buses was held in Wuhu City and the first 170 city buses have been transferred to Wuhu Public Transport Company.
Compared with the conventional city buses, the most of these buses powers by CNG, equipped with advanced unitarybody, available for good safety, light weight and energy-saving.
It is known that the manufacturing of the city buses is a part of Chery bus project, which refers to total investment of 1 billion Yuan RMB, covers the area of almost 350 thousand square meters as well as the annual production of 10000 buses & coaches with the body length of from 5.4-meter to 18-meter.
According to the related principal of Chery Automobile, they have currently completed the development of 6100 series diesel, electric and natural gas buses. In the last half of this year, they will dedicate to the development of 7-meter high-end commercial vans, 12-meter city buses and coaches (Euro Ⅳ). The products will gradually launch the markets around Wuhu City, even the overseas market after fully meet the demand in Wuhu City.
