www.chinabuses.org: On 15 May 2011, “Higer Intelligence” Lecture on safety & energy-saving of buses was held in Changsha City, Hunan Province, the forth stops since starting on 25 March 2011. And such activity continued in Hefei, Wuhan, Hohhot and Tianjin in the next 14 days. It is planned to complete the nationwide lecture before the end of this June and schedule is rather tight.


Higer Bus has continuously carried on lecture activity on safety of vehicles for four years to promote the related knowledge to the various operators. The topic 2011 differs from before: firstly, intelligence and science & technology instead of safety; secondly, the organizer is Ministry of Transport, rather than Higer Bus.


The first round of marketing focuses on the promotion of the specific functions of Higer G-BOS, which attracts great attention from customers in the background of the current fuel-saving technologies almost reaching the limits. When mentioned about the actual effect of G-BOS, minister Guo from Hunan Longxiang Transport Development Group Co., Ltd. showed in the interview that about 658 liters can be saved for two buses for one month, related to 59220 Yuan if each bus averagely runs 300 kilometers.


At present, Higer G-BOS intelligence operation system has got the confirmation of almost 1500 operators. With the fiercer competition, some China bus builders also have launched or plan to market such type of management systems such as Yutong Bus, Shaolin Bus (EMS), Youngman Bus and Guilin Daewoo (Master E).


Higer Bus speeds up the second round of marketing and promotion. Through the lectures, it is a good change for Higer Bus to present its products and enhance corporate image. Moreover, most operators concern about the possibility of the integration of the various management systems because they usually own the buses with different brands. In 2011, the bus informatization standard will be laid down and it is another objective for Higer Bus to get the relevant opportunity through the increasing influence in the provinces.
