Development Plan of China New Energy Vehicles to Issue in this July

www.chinabuses.org: “Development Plan of China New Energy Vehicles”jointly drew by several ministries has been submitted to the Sate Council to be reviewed and possibly will be issued at the beginning of this July. It is known that it refers to the new encourage plan for the development of new energy vehicles.
The central government will invest 100 million Yuan on the industry of new energy motor vehicles, in particular, 50 billion Yuan as the special fund for the development of energy-saving & new energy vehicles and 30 billion Yuan for the related demonstration promotion and 20 billion for the energy conservation automobiles, especially hybrid power ones.
Some expert reveals that such encourage fund only targets to the new energy vehicles with the proprietary intellectual property rights or made in China.
According to the plan, it is expected that 1 million hybrid power vehicles, including 0.5 million plug-in and electric vehicles in China during the period of 2015 and 2020. In the meantime, the production capability of 1 million new energy vehicles (electric and plug-in hybrid power vehicles accounting for 50%) will be formed by 2015.
