Analysis and Prediction of China Auto Market in 2011

www.chinabuses.org: Based on the related statistics, it products 2111100 commercial vehicles, year-on-year growth of negative 6.07% and sells 2215000 units, year-on-year growth of negative 3.67%. Some reasons for the negative growth of the commercial vehicles are as below:
Firstly, the end of the policy of “Vehicles to the Countryside” and of the relevant stimulate consumptions, the sales of light buses, vans, and cargo trucks reduce. In Jan.-Jun. 2011, the sales volume of light trucks (including incomplete vehicles) is 1022600 units, year-on-year growth of -4.31% and the sales volume of vans (including incomplete vehicles) is 264300 units, year-on-year growth of -7.45%.
Secondly, it is the transition period of the project acceptance for Year 2005 to 2010 and project accreditation demonstration for Year 2011 to 2015. Many large-sized projects have not still been started.
Thirdly, the improving of road conditions and the pulling of the high speed railway transport, the bus market demand remains growing, however, not enough to change the general trend of commercial vehicle market. In Jan.-Jun. 2011, it has produced 220100 buses & coaches (including incomplete vehicles) , y/y growth of 6.61% and sold 231200 units(including incomplete vehicles), y/y growth of 9.73%.
In last half of this year, 29687 units large-sized buses have been sold, year-on-year growth of 1.65%, Sales Ranking of China bus builders is as shown: Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. (6181 units, 10.20% down); Higer Bus Company Limited (4522 units, 8.84% up); Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. (3965 units; 14.07% up); Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd.(2363 units, 17.74% up); Dandong Huanghai Motors Co., Ltd. (1713 units; 13.37% up).
In last half of this year, 35648 units medium-sized buses have been sold, year-on-year growth of -10.89%, Sales Ranking of China bus builders is as shown: Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. (6610 units, 12.04% down); Dongfeng Bus Company (5668 units; 8.92% up); Higer Bus Company Limited (4408 units, 7.02% up); FAW Toyota (3535 units; 109.67%); Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. (2282 units; 6.40% down).
In last half of this year, 165863 units light buses have been sold, year-on-year growth of 17.23%, Sales Ranking of China bus builders is as shown: Jinbei Automotive Company Limited (47343 units, 14.12% up); Jiangling Motors Co, Ltd. (29254 units, 19.31% up); Nanjing Automobile（Group）Corporation (23979 units, 31.31% up); Dongfeng Bus Company (12417 units; 0.31% up); Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. (11631 units, 7.33% down).
