In “2nd Contest of China (Kunming) New Energy Public Buses”, Wuzhoulong displays a hybrid bus-FDG6111HEVG2. 10 units of this kind are used in Kunming and there will be another 1350 units for the coming Universiade in Shenzhen. Afterwards, there are over 2000 units.
“After 10-month test run, its fuel consumption was the lowest among the similar models, with an average of 27.8L.” GU, Yun added.
New energy buses account for 80% of Wuzhoulong’s work. As the first enterprise mass-producing hybrid buses, also the only one, Wuzhoulong has mastered two core technologies of control system and power battery. Besides, Wuzhoulong participates in standard construction and project construction of charging stations and stakes in Shenzhen. “Promoting the development of new energy vehicles is very difficult for an enterprise of merely bus manufacturing instead of ancillary facilities.” GU said.
Wuzhoulong was confident about the operation and maintenance of new energy buses in Universiade. “On June 28th, Wuzhoulong gathered all the supporting manufacturers for discussion about maintenance and organize a maintenance system for the holding of Universiade.” GU, Yun said.
GU, Yun said Wuzhoulong would continue the promotion of new energy buses in the cities without local bus manufacturers, which was Wuzhoulong’s development plan.
