Besides, Scania was preparing a closer cooperation with Higer and was to release its strategy in China at the end of this year.

The other day, the reporter was invited to visit the headquarters of Scania in Sodertalje of Sweden and communicate with the CEO, and he also visited the whole process from the production line to call center, transporting company and refitting factory.

Year 2011 is the 120th year since the foundation of Scania and the 100th year since it produced the first bus. Up to 350 units of Scania-Higer buses will be exported this year, but Scania is considering how to sell the buses in China before it enters into China market.

After affiliated to Volkswagen in 2008, Scania developed its financing service in China to help customers solve their problems through Volkswagen Finance Company.

Recently Scania P, G, R series and brand-new R series are the main tractors sold in China and 4X2, 6X2 and 6X4 products equipped with engines of 380-470 horse powers, mainly used for long-distance transportation and short-distance cargo delivery, are most popular. Furthermore, Scania fire trucks, municipal fleets and engineering vans come into service in China.
