Zhu Fushou, general manager of Dongfeng Motor Company shows that the sales volume of Dongfeng commercial vehicles is 600,000 units in 2010 and expects almost 700,000 units in 2011. Among Dongfeng products, it is only buses and coaches that don’t rank in the top three in China (ranking No.4 in China currently). During the plan during the period of the twelfth five-year plan, Dongfeng Motor will make more efforts on the business of buses and coaches. The producer aims at the sales of 950,000 units, striving for 1,000,000 units. “Within five years, the overseas sales of Dongfeng Motor will take about 10%, meanwhile, Dongfeng Motor is speeding up the opening of the overseas markets.”
