The investment amount to purchase 100 units of liquefied natural gas fuel Huanghai Bus from the city government reached RMB 5,400 which was 40 units of DD6118S23 and 60 units of DD6109S28. The three main advantages that attracted the Dandong Bus to purchase the Huanghai Bus are its good functions of environmental protection, safety performance and energy saving.
According to the technology research institute of Huanghai bus, it was the third time that their gas-fueled buses sold to Chinese domestic market after this year 380 units of gas-fueled buses sold to Changzhou City and 400 units to Shijiazhuang City. Besides, LNG buses have more advantages than CNG, LPG buses in its safety performance, environmental protection, the vehicle lightweight trip range and the vehicle mileage. It is seen from the United States and Europe's trend, now natural gas vehicle research center in different countries has also turned from CNG to the LNG.
