In March 2007, Zhongtong Bus built a nation level laboratory, a national level enterprise technology center and a postdoctoral R&D workstation in June 2008. The company successively undertook three key energy-saving and new energy bus programs included in "National 863 Plan", owned about 20 new energy technology patents, developed new energy buses ranging from first generation to tenth generation and carried out the large scale operations.
Currently, combining with new material and BOVA technologies, Zhongtong Bus has developed series of internationally advanced products including pure electric buses, petrol-electric hybrid buses and plug-in charging buses. With Zero emission and low noise, new energy bus conforms to the enviroment protection trend and ISO9001 & 3C certified, now the energy bus is increasingly demanded in the global market which has already exported to USA, France, Spain, Russia and Argentina.
