After two-year preparation, Huanghai DD6119K30, designed to be the best cost performance seat bus, piled into the market in 2011. In Shanghai, Changzhou, Tianjin and Dandong etc, DD6119K30 drew so much attention for its excellent performance in oil-saving.
Huanghai accurately predicted the development of natural gas buses. From 2005, Huanghai natural gas buses were well received in Beijing, Shenyang, Yinchuan, Tianjin and Changzhou etc; in 2006, Huanghai introduced the technologies of low-floor and BRT from German MAN Company; in 2008 it collaborated with Guiyang to design the first LNG buses with overhead gas cylinder; in 2010, Huanghai developed the first LNG intercity buses.
With a history of 60 years, Huanghai shows its responsibility in the development of school buses. After years of study, Huanghai concluded that American-style school buses were not the best option for China and it designed the semi-long-nose school bus in September 2011, which was regarded as “Chinese-style School Bus” after successful demonstration operation in Kuandian, Liaoning.
