2012 China bus & coach market may rise about 8%

www.chinabuses.org: According to the latest figures showed that in 2011, the total sale quantities of the main 50 domestic bus enterprises are 242,065 units with total accumulative quantities reaching 20,063 units and the sales growth rate is 9.04%. Among them, the large buses’ sale quantities are 80,110 units; the medium buses’ sale quantities are 80,440 units; The light buses’ sale quantities are 81,515 units. The respectively growth rate are 13.02%, 10.96% and 3.67%.
The vice secretary from Bus & Coach Association of China Highway & Transportation Society, Mr.She ZhenQing analysised that, under the strong growth trends of large and medium-sized buses in 2011, the bus & coach market structure have changed. The repectively proportion of the large, medium and light buses had changed from 31.93%, 32.65% and 35.42% in 2010 inton 33.09%, 33.23% and 33.67% in 2011 which had already basicly form three one third of the market structure.
In addition, under the big contributions from the Yutong Bus ( 13.41% year-on-year growth) and Higer Bus(12.67% year-on-year growth), the market share of King Long Bus, Higer Bus, Golden Gragon Bus and Yutong Bus was 48.09% in 2010 and now rised to 48.93%. Though it increased by only 0.84%, keep the relatively stable pattern of the bus & coach industry market.
