In the exhibition, there are two models of Golden Dragon buses presented: XML6125 Glory Luxurious bus and hybrid electric vehicle XML6125JHEV.
The XML6125 Glory Luxurious bus was one of the masterpieces developed by Golden Dragon in 2011, the key construction of bus framework used high strength steel material, thus makes this bus has the advantages of light weight, high strength and safety. This model is equipped with a series of safe technological equipment, such as ABS, ESC and automatic fire extinguisher, safety switch and so on, these safety equipment provides good performance for the braking system and guarantee the imitative and passive safety.
There are a lot of energy saving technologies being applied in the design of this model, such as the light-weighted design, monocoque design, low wind resistance design, power system optimization matching design and so on.
The other Golden Dragon bus presented in the exhibition is hybrid electric vehicle XML6125JHEV, it is a typical one for the energy-saving product and a new type green coach, which adopts diesel and electric mixing energy driving system, it is the first hybrid power vehicle which used the super capacitor as the energy storage equipment in China. There are three advantages of this hybrid electric vehicle:
The first is low emission, this model is equipped with Euro IV engine, the emission of whole vehicle is better than Euro IV emission standard.
The second is high energy-saving, this model used the super capacitor as the energy storage equipment, comparing with other same type diesel model, the fuel consumption decreases 25%-35%.
The third is long life span. The life span of the super capacitors can be more than 10 years, additionally, the treatment of cathode electrophoresis and the technology of monocoque guarantee 10 years’ anti-corrosion, thus low down the cost of maintenance.
