A core competence provides company with potential access to wide variety of market. In the past 20 years, Gloden Dragon continued to seek the core competence in the bus industry.
From 1992, although Golden Dragon started off its business as a light bus builder, it ventured into the medium-size coach market in 1997 and made inroads into the large-size coach manufacturing sector in 1999. At present, Gloden Dragon has become one of leading bus/coach builder in the domestic and international markets, with its buses being exported to more than 50 countries.
In today’s world, modern science and technology are developing rapidly and market is changing constantly. While seeking the core competence, Gloden Dragon focuses its attention, first and foremost, on quality for every new step of development. We believe that a coach’s quality and reliability are ultimately the deciding factors will thus ensure a successful business deal and even long-term business relationships. Since Golden Dragon’s establishment, after 20 years of unremitting efforts, it has accumulated rich experience, summed up for its development. In the beginning of 1992, Gloden Dragon buses were built by the production process of cars. Through the successful technology acquisition of TOYOTA HIACE Series and the guidance of Japanese experts, Gloden Dragon had established its own technology system, production process and manufacturing management. Moreover, Gloden Dragon had reference the leading production process from Audi. In 2008, the National’s first Cathodic Electrophoresis Treatment on the complete bus has been applied for anti-corrosion of bus body. The Monocoque technology reduces the vehicles curb weight, which contributes to lower fuel consumption and less pollution.
“In the future, the competition of the bus/coach industry will focus on the manufacturing process. Thanks to high-quality workmanship including corrosion proection of cathodic dip painting and monocoque technology, We believe that only the high-quality products can bring our clients with excellent value.” said Shihang Hou, the general manager of Gloden Dragon sales department. Besides, Mr Hou indicated that the quality of China bus industry is still much lagged behind the advanced level of the world. In order to catch up with the international advanced level, China bus industry has to drive the current production process change to modern production process of carmakers with “all in one” concept. All the parts of the bus must been taken account into the whole process of production.
