King Long New-energy Bus Program Approved by 863 Program

www.chinabuses.org：King Long "Range-extended/Plug-in HCV Powertrain Development" program was approved by National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program), which was after "Medium Hybrid Auto Industrialization Technology" program, showing King Long's strength in new-energy buses.

Chief Engineer of King Long Post-doctoral Research Station Chen, Xiaobing said "The new program is about the research of commercial vehicle pure-electric driving system, especially about the platform development and construction of range-extended/plug-in CV technology."

It's said that King Long has established the most professional and advanced remote monitoring platform by virtue of KL-988 and intelligent operation management system.

As the leading enterprise in bus industry, King Long has started the R&D of new-energy products since 2000 and now owns many series from hybrid power to pure-electric power. The approved new program will play an important role in national "energy-saving and emission production" strategy and the development of new-energy vehicles.
