King Long CSO Xie, Weiguo told the reporter that the export goal in 2012 was RMB 2.4 billion Yuan and in the first half of the year, export reached RMB 0.8 billion Yuan, which means there’d still be a long and tough way to go.
Xie, Weiguo admitted that he and the whole sales team were under big pressure which came from two aspects. One is Euro crisis and sluggish recovery of American economy, the other is the interior one that a new-round strategy adjustment is essential.
Nevertheless, King Long did a great job in European market, from RMB 0.7 billion Yuan of export in 2007 to RMB 2 billion Yuan in 2011.
Balanced development in overseas markets is the outstanding feature of King Long, who never relies on some specific market. From 2008 to 2009, King Long prevented itself from severe influence on financial crisis, thanks to its balanced strategy.
CSO Xie, Weiguo said overseas competition for China bus enterprises were like middle-and-long-distance race. Traditional advantage is cost, which will be useful for a while in the future. However, the enterprise must improve the products and brand after long-term accumulation and efforts.
