In March this year, the most advanced new-generation oil-electricity hybrid buses formally served in No.22 bus line in Haikou. The 12 new buses offered by Hainan Yaoxing Transportation Group are the most advanced new-generation oil-electricity hybrid buses in China produced by Zhengzhou Yutong Group, which are secure, economic, oil-saving and intelligent. Besides, the first electric bus served in No.4 bus line in Haikou on May 1, 2011. Then the first pure electric taxies were put into service by the newly founded Haikou City Public Transportation Group.
Obviously, in the national pilot city for the rectification of the user, to economic considerations, the rise of the hybrid electric bus market competition, the winner will belong to the fuel saving rate is high, reliable bus manufacturing enterprises. For the oil saving effect, a year can save 6 yuan. So, than the traditional car shows good economic advantage.
Now after long time to demonstrate the hybrid buses in Haikou City, it is learned from Road Transport Management Office that the number of the environmentally friendly buses has covered 60% of the total. Additional 200 energy-saving and new energy buses will be put into service in 2012.
