Compared with mainstream LFP battery, lithium titanium fast-charging battery is faster in charging and longer in service life, but weaker in specific energy and specific power.
Last year Hengtong used six fast-charging new-energy buses in Chongqing for demo run. There have been over 30 fast-charging city buses used in Yubei airport and there will be 100 more this year.
Except for pure-electric buses, Hengtong is working on fast-charging plug-in hybrid bus, which is equipped with lithium titanate battery. A 110Kw charging pile or auto charging device is built in origin station or terminal and 5-10 minutes charging makes the pure-electric bus run 10km.
