School Bus Sales Contributes to Depressed Bus Sales in Jan.-July

The large bus sales were 44,399 units, which rose 9.09 percent higher than Jan.-June of 2011; The medium bus sales were 43,076 units, which rose 6.90 percent higher than Jan.-June of 2011; The small bus sales were 45,323 units, which rose 3.29 percent higher than Jan.-June of 2011.
In July, the total sales increased by 2.73 percent. But the sales of coaches declined by 5.35 percent; The sales of the intercity buses declined by 6.72 percent; The sales of the other buses declined by 84.43 percent. Except school bus market, the depressed phenomenon in other bus markets appeared apparently.

For school bus industry, most bus builders are now in exploration stage.
