From the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) revealed the news that in this IAA Hannover international commercial motor show, most exhibitors come from China, then followed by Turkey and Italy.
In 2011, China built 6.2 million commercial vehicles, which makes it the world’s largest producer of commercial vehicles. Its proportion of total global production comes to 44 per cent. India and Turkey are also among the top five in the world ranking. India's production of commercial vehicles in 2011 rose by more than one fifth (+22 per cent) to 887,000 units, while Turkey built 549,000 commercial vehicles–an increase of 12 per cent. VDA recognizes this development by putting these countries at the focus of three events with top-level guests at the 64th International Motor Show (IAA) in Hannover.
