20 units of Zhongtong gas school buses were purchased by Fuhai Group to denote the school in Binhai City, Shandong Province. The zero emission of the gas school bus is helpful for the environment.
These years a new development trend emerged in China’s bus industry that domestic school buses are actively developing the international market. Apart from domestic demand, school bus export is also an important factor, the demand of school buses first rose from abroad and thus school bus export has a long history. In 2008, Zhongtong exported 1,600 school buses to Saudi Arabia; and in 2011, Ankai again exported 800 school buses to Saudi Arabia. The reason why China’s school bus export hasn’t achieved a considerable scale at this stage is mainly because our school buses haven’t been so standardized. With the increasing domestic market demand and the clearer standards for professional school buses, school bus export will certainly become an integral part of China’s bus export.”
