Sales of light buses growth over last year
Sales of large and medium buses saw a clear decreasing. 6,300 large buses were sold in Sept., down 28.78% over August, and down 21.26% over last year; and 7,500 medium buses were sold, down 13.22% over August, and down 19.20% over last year; 27,800 light buses were sold, up 9.02% over August, and up 5.83% over last year.
344,500 buses were sold from Jan. to Sept., up 3.22% over last year, and 60,900 of which were large buses, up 3.92%, 61,100 medium buses were sold, up 0.12%, and 222,500 light buses were sold, up 3.91%.
In terms of areas, sales in middle and south China as well as Northeast China, and sales in North China saw the biggest growth. 104,500 buses were sold in East China, up 3.56%; 44,000 buses were sold in central and south China, down 11.01%; 41,700 buses were sold in North China, up 10.61%; 28,300 buses were sold in Southwest China, up 3.42%; 25,300 units were sold in Northeast China, down 0.46% and 20,200 units were sold in Northwest China, up 22.34%.
The top ten bus builders on sales in Sept. are Brilliance Jinbei, JMC,
Yutong, NAVECO, Golden Dragon,
Higer,
King Long, Beiqi Foton, Ankai and Shaolin, and their sales voluems are 9,492 units, 4,566 units, 3,799 units, 3,120 units, 2,797 units, 2,110 units, 2,064 units, 1,970 units, 1,482 units and 1,100 units.
