October 12th, Bosch, the leading global supplier of technology and services, announced the opening of the new R&D center and the new production plant of Bosch Automotive Products (Changsha) Co., Ltd.. By expanding the R&D center and establishing the new plant, the strategic investment, worth 700 million CNY, aims to further improve the R&D and production capacity of the Bosch's automotive divisions including Starter Motors and Generators and Electrical Drives, whose product range covers starter motors, generators, thermal systems, wiper systems and actuation systems. With enhanced local R&D strengths and enlarged production capacity, Bosch will be able to develop its automotive business in China in a more sustainable way.
October 15th, Bosch Communication Center was opening a site in Chengdu, one of southwest China's commercial centers, this October. "By opening this branch in China, we are expanding our international network to include a strategic growth market in which we want to establish ourselves as an international service provider in the area of Business Process Outsourcing," explains Robert Mulatz, Head of Bosch Communication Center.
