Higer won the biding of all the first 66 LNG buses. It's said the four enterprises would use over 1500 LNG buses in three years.
In the matter of fact, from December 2009, the four enterprises constituted a cross-regional joint venture with CNY 8 billion assets and 12,000 vehicles.
Based on the experience from "Higer Intelligence" for transport industry in 2011, Suzhou Vehicle Group decelerated the buses from 100km/h to 95km/h, saving 1 kilo of natural gas per 100km.
From early 2012 till now, Higer has sold over 1500 NG buses, increasing 70% year-on-year, and LNG city buses and coaches account for 70%. Over 4000 Higer NG buses have been used in domestic market, covering 28 provinces and cities, especially in Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Xinjiang, etc.
