"At the end of 2012, the Zhongtong hybrid buses will reach 1,500 units " Zhongtong Bus Brand & Culture Minister of Li Dusheng said.
The 300 units of the hybrid buses will be delivered before New Year. And there will be 500 units of hybrid Zhongtong buses in the fleet of the Jinan Public Transportation Company.
It is learned that in domestic hybrid bus market, there are less than 15,000 units. Many mainstream bus builders' hybrid buses operating in the market are less than 1,000 units.
Li said, the new energy bus' sales revenue has accounted for nearly 15 percent of the total sales income of the company. In 2013, Zhongtong Bus will achieve a higher goal.
