In 2012, Zhongtong Bus has achieved rather good performance in city buses, coaches, school buses and new energy buses. And from the segment bus market, Zhongtong Bus has done a rather good job in natural buses. In the first year of 2012, it has sold 1,405 units of natural gas buses, which increased by 54.4 percent, whose growth rate ranked NO. 1 in the natural gas bus market.
Zhongtong LNG Bus
Rely on forty years’ manufacturing experience and the advanced technology, Zhongtong Bus has made great effort on the developing of new energy bus. Now it has successfully released series of CNG, LNG, hybrid buses and they are sold in the domestic and foreign markets.
And in the recent five years, the sales and production rate of Zhongtong bus are over 30 percent each year. And now, the sales and production volume of Zhongtong large and medium buses rank in the top five place in China. Its export market share accounts for 10 percent of China large bus’ export, which ranks top three.
The General Manage Su Qingming said,Zhongtong will realize the sales and production volume of buses being 20,000 units in 2015, among which, 7,000 units of new energy buses are sold, accounting for 12 percent of market share.
