In the year of 2012, Zhongtong Bus is a new power in China bus industry, especially in school bus market, new energy bus market and the overseas market.
As an energy bus navigator, Zhongtong Bus has developed the low-floor hybrid bus and pure electric buses, which use the international first-class level of electrical control system. Its good energy conservation got several cities’ approval from Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jinan and other cities. In 2012, Zhongtong delivered 300 units of hybrid buses to Jinan City and fifty units of gas-electric hybrid buses to Hohhot. There are also more orders of the Zhongtong NG series new energy buses.

In 2015, according to the General Manage Su Qingming said, Zhongtong will realize the sales and production volume of buses being 20,000 units, among which, 7,000 units of new energy buses are sold, accounting for 12 percent of market share.
