city buses started to run from Nanjing Shazhou Parking lot on Dec. 31, 2012, which started the program of replacing 3,000 city buses in three years.
Nanjing is strengthening the public transport infrasture construction, city bus service quality, and promotion of city and rural areas integration. 1,000 new city buses will be replaced each year since 2012. And there will be over 8,000 city buses in the end of 12th five-year plan period.
LNG is an ideal clean energy for city bus, and 60% of the renewed city buses will be LNG city buses.
The maintenance of LNG buses are higher than diesle engine buses, but a LNG bus can still save over 10,000 Yuan in one year after taking off general expenses and costs.
And this is the first time for Golden Dragon to serve Nanjing city bus markets for their rather good fame, excellent performance on serving surrounding Wuxi, Kunshan and Hangzhou.
The 20 Golden Dragon city buses are painted with yellow and grey color, and the engine is developed with Germany FEV Company, and the engine can meet national Ⅳ emission standard. Honeywell turbocharger is used to limit the speed. CAN control system, air suspension, vehicle-mounted GPS and TV set is equipped. Shangbai Bao Steel excellent steels are used to guarantee the intensity and strengthness of the bus body.
