Some people have concerns on safety of natural gas buses, but there is no car accident due to natural gas leaking in sixty years since natural gas is used. More and more bus operators are focusing natural gas buses.
Golden Dragon has been leading on research and developing natural gas buses since 2002 when their new energy research team was built. Golden Dragon natural has buses feature safe, ecinomic and environmental friendly. And their natural has engine, vehicle-mounted gas cylinder, parts techology and complete vehicle assemble technology are all rather mature.
430 Golden Dragon LNG city buses were purchased by Nanjing Public Transport Company in 2012, and the buses adopt European city bus model, and the engine is developed by Yuchai and Germany FEV Company and the engine is fitting with national Ⅳ emission standard.
CAN technology is used, and there are also vehicle running recorder, hard disc monitoring, GPS vehicle-mounted TV set. The vehicle body is made of Shanghai Baogang, and all AMPconnector clips are used for electrical plug-in, WABCO Valve.
