The First 50 Hybrid City Buses to Run in Baoding, Hebei Province

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned from Baoding Public Transport Company that the first batch of hybrid city buses are going to run in Baoding, and the 50 hybrid city buses are going to run next week.
Two new city buses are standing by the corner of Baoding 7th branch company of Baoding Public Transport Company, and the driving cabin of the new buses are quite different from previous LNG buses, and the gears are at the left, and there are R, N, D and L gears up to down, which is similiar to that of passenger cars.
And these are gas-electric hybrid city bus, and electricity is used on lower speed, and natural gas will provide power on high speed, and the bus can save 20-30% fuels compared with LNG bus.
Infinitely variable speeds is used for the new bus so that the driving will be rather stable and there is no clutches in the bus.
It is told that 289 new such hybrid city buses will be renewed in Baoding, and these are the first batch.
