Tibet to Boost Construction of Transport in 2013

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned from Tibet Department of Transportation that they will invest 2.2 billion Yuan on construction of transport, and the new roads will extend more than 5,000 km.
First-class highway from Tibet to Linzhi will start to build in 2013, as well as air port highways from Bayi to Milin, Changdu to Bangda, Shiquanhe to Kunsha, Zedang to Gongga etc. and oil highways will be repaired from Lhasa to Zedang, Shigatse, Nagchu.
And countryside road construciton projects will amount to 194 in 2013, and 99% villages will have roads and 69 clearing road programs to solve 247 villages and 83 towns.
They will build four passenger stations in four counties with the investment of 11 million Yuan and freight stations in Shannan and Linzhi.
