Huanghai is a forerunner in the field of new energy bus, starting the R&D works as early as in 2006, and set up the electric car institute in 2007. Reporter learned that the DD6129CHEV1 is a market-tested mature bus that adopted the plug-in deep hybrid system which enjoys subsidy from national government. The electric power rate is as high as 52.7%, far ahead of industry standards as regulated in QC/T837-2010 that the electric power rate shall be higher than 30%, which is also beyond the standards of competitor bus makers. This bus model won two awards of most innovative and best model in a national contest, and was also put into mass use in Tangshan and Dalian, achieving good results.
Through the years, Huanghai stick to the principle of being responsible to customers, and commit to improving quality as well as service. Every one of new products got to reach the market only after careful study and tests.

Huanghai set up benchmark of technology, security, development in the industry for school bus products, and establish itself as a strong pushing force in the course. Huanghai won great reputation among customers and realizing mass sales in Dalian, Panjin, Xinming, Tangshan, Heilongjiang. As the reporter learned, Huanghai has finished developing 10m long all new school bus. To date, a range of school bus with length between 6m and 10 m has taken shape.
