www.chinabuses.org: Ministry of Transport released the names of the first batch of vehicle terminals which passed the technical inspection in accordance with "GNSS system for operating vehicles-Technical specification for BD compatible vehicle terminals" and "GNSS system for operating vehicles-Technical specification for the communication protocol and data format of BD compatible vehicle terminal", including two terminals of Higer G-BOS.
Beidou Navigation Satellite System is the satellite positioning and communication system independently developed by China, following GPS of USA and GLONASS of Russia. The system, comprising space terminal, ground terminal and customer terminal, is able to offer the service of highly-accurate-and-reliable positioning, navigation and timing to global customers round the clock. The system has started since December 27th, 2012.
On December 31st, 2012, Ministry of Transport announced large buses, tourist buses and vehicles for transport of dangerous articles in the nine demonstration provinces and cities of Jiangsu, Anhui, Hebei, Shaanxi, Shandong, Hunan, Ningxia, Guizhou and Tianjin wouldn't be issued the road transport certificates after June 1st, 2013.
