As we know, the public were shocked by the disastrous school bus accident when an overloaded school bus collided with coal truck last November 2011 in Gansu province, which caused nineteen children and two adults lost their lives in the accident. In 2012, the governments made great effort on regulating the professional school bus production and manufacturing.
In 2011, Shangrao Bus Company produced and sold nearly 1000 special school buses, ranking No.5 nationwide, especially in Guangdong Province. In 2012, Shangrao Bus Company sold 300 school buses in Q1 and it would expand the market of Hunan, Zhejiang, Shandong, Fujian and Jiangxi, etc.
Shangrao bus is equipped with a global positioning system device, child card reader and vehicle data recorder. They all have a front bumper, emergency escape doors, windows and hammers, emergency lamps and seat belts. A driver and a supervisor are also provided for each bus.
