There were 31 bus operators and 14 new energy bus builders from 28 cities came to attend the competition. The main competition buses are pure electric buses, plug-in hybrid electric buses and hybrid buses.

12 meters long pure electric buses: the evaluated criterion (wh/person•km) is the energy consumption of the buses with air condition off.
Gold Awards are Wuzhoulong Bus FDG6113EVG8 (8.228), BYD CK6120LGEV2 (8.231) and Shanxi Yuxing Bus XML6125JEV20C (8.234). Silver Awards are Ankai Bus HFF6127GD3EV (10.062) and King Long Bus XMQ6119AGBEV (10.066). Bronze Award is Alfa Bus YS6121GBEV (12.352).

Hybrid buses: the evaluated criterion (L/1000 person•100km) is the energy consumption of the buses.
