It is learned that Higer pure electric buses adopts lithium battery to realize the zero emission. The cost of one pure electric bus is only RMB 60 driving for 100 km, which is one third of the traditional diesel vehicles’ cost.
Higer started the R&D of new-energy buses from 1999. Due to the immaturity of new-energy technologies, the company tended to be cautious, only conducting the test running in several areas. It's said Higer makes some achievements in R&D of new-energy products, which are perfecting independently-developed parallel-serial electronic control strategy and solving the faults of new-energy buses in operation.
