Sinotruk, Beiben, Yutong Bus, King Long, Higer, Zonda are exporting products to the region. Latin America is one of the earliest exploited areas, and the development level of some regions are similiar to China. FAW Jiefang, Nanjing Yuejin and Beiqi light trucks started to export to the region since 1980 when Japanese commercial vehicles dominated.
Chile is the biggest auto export markets for China. There is no trucks exported to Chile, and the market shares was 2% in 2007, 19% in 2011 and 2012.
Customers in Bolivia know very well about China commercial vehicles and they have rigious requirement on safety, economy and reliability etc.
China signed FTA with Chile, Peru and Costa Rica. And this can help shifting spare capacity in China and also to avoid trade barrier.
