www.chinabuses.org: On November 30, a grand ceremony themed with "A New Height, A New Beginning" was held at Golden Dragon's production base in Haicang District, Xiamen to mark the delivery of the bus maker's 50,000th bus to the overseas market and the delivery of 137 units Golden Dragon Euro VI city buses to its customer in Israel. Following the export of 177 units Euro VI city buses to its Israeli customers in early 2015, this new batch of city buses to Israel represents a big step forward for the two parties cooperation. More importantly, Golden Dragon once again demonstrates its overall competitiveness in China's bus industry, becoming a handful of bus makers in China which have achieved an accumulated export volume of 50,000 units buses.
The Ceremony of Golden Dragon Exports its 50,000th Bus to Israel
As the first bus brand from China ever imported by Israel's second largest public carrier DAN Corporation, Golden Dragon will see its bus fleet reaching 500 units by the end of this year. Beating all other well renowned bus brands from Europe, it now ranks the first position in Israeli market.
Mr. Dani Blilious, CEO of Auto Chen Corporation, an auto dealer in Israel and Mr. Shmulik Litvak, Operating Director and the Director of Technical Department from DAN Corporation attended the ceremony, speaking highly of Golden Dragon's products and after-sale services.
Xie Siyu, President of Golden Dragon pointed out at the ceremony, "Israel represents one of our key overseas market with our successful marketing. Since earlier 2011, together with Auto Chen, we have been through market research, product research, bus trial operation, and product improvement. Now our hard work has paid off and we have succeeded in becoming the first brand from China to export large volumes of buses with Euro VI Emission Standards to Israel. Our success cannot be achieved without the constant supports given and hard efforts made by our dealer Auto Chen.

Mr. Dani Blilious, CEO of Auto Chen also spoke highly of his company's deepening ties with Golden Dragon, saying "after over four years' cooperation, Golden Dragon has already become a well recognized bus brand in Israel's high-end bus market. The biggest achievement we have ever made is the establishment of cooperative ties with DAN Corp., which is the second largest public carrier in Israel. Boasting rich experience in bus operation, DAN chiefly purchased MAN, Benz and other high-end bus brands from Europe previously. Its preference for Golden Dragon vehicles recently has proved a great success for the bus maker."
Speaking to Chinabuses.org., Mr. Shmulik Litvak, Operating Director of DAN Corp. introduced the history of the cooperation of his company with Golden Dragon. "We have been operating high-end buses and coaches from Europe for 35 years. For this reason, we are naturally used to the European standards when it comes to bus quality and services. In 2006, we visited Golden Dragon and found that all buses exported only met Euro III and IV Emission Standards. However, we were deeply impressed by the quality of Golden Dragon bus products. In 2010, we bought two buses from Golden Dragon for trial operation. In 2014, we made a big decision to buy 177 units Golden Dragon buses with Euro VI Emission Standards."
When talking with Chinabuses.org., Mr. Dani Blilious says that he is very confident in Golden Dragon in terms of its technological strengths, R&D capacity, manufacturing competitiveness and service level. In the near future, Auto Chen is planning to work together with Golden Dragon to further explore the Israeli market, trying to promote the sales of Golden Dragon travel coaches, intercity buses, city buses, and school buses, etc.
According to statistics from Israeli sources, the country's bus and coach fleet has reached 5,000 units in 2015. Every year, it will introduce 1,500 units of new vehicles on its roads. With a total number of 500 units, Golden Dragon ranks the first in Israel among all imported bus brands. As a dealer in Israel, Mr. Dani Blilious says his company is now set to boost the market share of Golden Dragon in Israel to 25%.
Just as what Mr. Dani Blilious has said, Mr. Shmulik Litvak from DAN Corp. also reveals that his company has not only impressed by the high quality products of Golden Dragon, but has also touched by the bus maker's great efforts and determination. Mr. Shmulik Litvak says "we simply cannot resist the cooperation with Golden Dragon."
