In 2008, an upgraded version of Longwin, XMQ6140Y boasting a larger passenger loading capacity and a higher level of endurance was rolled out to the market. Not long after, XMQ6128Y, a new member of Longwin series, came to target at the rising demand for tourist transportat and rental services.
On September 3, 2015, when a grand ceremony was held in Beijing to celebrate China's first V-day Parade, a total number of 107 units Longwin coaches were put into services.
In March, 2017, Longwin again appeared at the much-anticipated "Two Sessions", the biggest political event in China, providing top-class transport services for all delegates. To date, King Long, which owns Longwin, has been involved in such high-profile transport service for seventeen consecutive years.
