In September, the first batch of 11 units Golden Dragon buses arrived in Rwanda for operation. The minister of the country’s ministry of transport, together with journalists from Rwanda TV and the New Times witnessed the historical moment in Kigali, the capital city of the country.
Rwanda is renowned for its mountainous landscape. Golden Dragon bus, measuring 10.5-meter in length, is equipped with 245 horsepower engine. To provide more travel comforts for passengers, the bus is mounted with newly designed seats and special ramps for wheelchairs.
Golden Dragon established its presence in Rwanda in 2014. Since then, Kast series buses have been put into service for local passengers. According to the bus maker, another batch of city buses will soon arrive in Kigali for operation.
To ensure the smooth operation of Golden Dragon buses, the bus maker has also sent a team of service engineers to Rwanda, providing training services for bus drivers, maintenance & repair services.
