In June, a total of 11,300 buses were exported, marking a year-on-year growth of 22.50%. Among the major bus export categories, compared to the previous month, exports of medium-sized buses increased significantly, while those of large and light buses declined slightly. When compared to the same period last year, exports of all three categories grew at double-digit rates, with medium-sized buses experiencing the most notable increase. Specifically, 2,958 large buses were exported in June, up 38.10% year-on-year; 1,407 medium-sized buses, a 45.35% increase; and 6,971 light buses, a 13.46% rise.
From January to June, cumulative bus exports reached 64,300 units, representing a year-on-year growth of 25.71%. Breaking it down, exports of large buses totaled 16,500 units, up 44.40%; medium-sized buses, 5,000 units, a significant increase of 80.29%; and light buses, 42,700 units, up 15.78%.
During the first six months, a total of 9,279 new energy buses were exported, a 41.99% increase year-on-year, accounting for 14.43% of the total bus exports.
Top Bus Enterprises Sales Performance:
In June, the top ten enterprises in terms of sales were Chang'an Automobile, SAIC MAXUS, JMC Motors, Beiqi Foton, Yutong, Kinglong, Nanjing IVECO, Golden Dragon, JAC Motor, and Higer, with sales volumes of 8,100, 6,400, 6,200, 5,000, 4,700, 2,000, 1,600, 1,500, 1,400, and 1,300 units, respectively. Compared to the same period last year, sales of Chang'an Automobile, SAIC MAXUS, Nanjing IVECO, and JAC Motor declined, while the rest saw varying degrees of growth. Collectively, these ten enterprises sold 38,100 buses in June, accounting for 89.23% of the total bus sales.
From January to June, the top ten enterprises in sales were Chang'an Automobile, JMC Motors, SAIC MAXUS, Beiqi Foton, Yutong, JAC Motor, Nanjing IVECO, Kinglong, Golden Dragon, and Higer, with sales volumes of 42,100, 37,800, 37,300, 29,100, 20,600, 13,400, 11,900, 8,800, 7,500, and 6,400 units, respectively. Compared to the same period last year, sales of SAIC MAXUS, Beiqi Foton, and Nanjing IVECO declined to varying degrees, while the rest witnessed growth. In total, these ten enterprises sold 214,900 buses from January to June, accounting for 88.92% of the total bus sales.
