In June 2024, according to the data from China Bus Statistics Information Network, more than 20 key bus enterprises in China (covering large and medium-sized bus enterprises and light bus enterprises, excluding traditional light bus enterprises) exported a total of 5,723 buses. Compared with 4,396 buses in June 2023, it achieved a year-on-year increase of 30.19%; compared with 5,432 buses in May of this year, it achieved a month-on-month increase of 5.36%. This data indicates that China's bus exports in June 2024 showed a strong momentum of both year-on-year and month-on-month growth.
Further observing the overall performance in the first half of 2024, China's total bus exports reached 27,551, with a cumulative year-on-year growth rate of 39.36%, demonstrating the vigorous vitality of the bus export market.
Among the cumulative export volumes of bus enterprises from January to June 2024, King Long with 3,741 exports, followed closely by Zhongtong with 3,533 exports. Golden Dragon and Higer also performed well, with cumulative exports of 2,859 and 2,634 respectively. The outstanding performance of these enterprises jointly promoted the prosperous development of China's bus export market.
