It can easily handle rainy, snowy, and foggy weather, as well as perform flexible turns, actively avoid pedestrians, autonomously follow/overtake vehicles, automatically stop at stations, and park itself. With a maximum speed of 60 km/h on open urban roads in fully autonomous mode, it demonstrates higher safety standards, a more comfortable experience, and improved traffic efficiency.
As one of the primary automotive manufacturers in Anhui, Ankai has frequently achieved innovations in the field of autonomous buses. In 2017, Ankai's autonomous bus conducted trial runs in Shenzhen, becoming the world's first autonomous bus to operate on public roads. In 2020, Ankai's autonomous bus was deployed on Anhui's first 5G open-road demonstration line for autonomous vehicles. In 2022, Ankai's L4 autonomous bus began regular operations on public roads in Hefei's Baohe Economic Development Zone, marking the province's first autonomous bus route.
