(thereinafter referred as to "Yuchai" or "the company" ) 2009 interim conference was held in the Power Building On Aug. 4 The operation results of the first half of the year was analyzed and summarized with solutions to the existing difficulties and plans for rest of the year. As the financial turmoil keeps afflicting the real economy, the right guidance is in need. This conference provides an opportunity to direct future operations and developments. Li Tiansheng, Zhang Jiasha, Liang Ping, Liang Heping, Wu Qiwei, Yan Jie, Ning Xingyong, Liang Qingyan, Zeng Shiqiang, Shen Jie, Qin Xiaohong, Zuo Bin, Li Qin, Guo Deming, and Zhong Yuwei etc., attended the conference.
 

The 6 main offices in Sichuan, Anhui, Guangdong, Hubei, Shandong and Fujian, and each product divisions reported the markets, product developments and customer services. From Jan. to Jul., despite of the shrinking market, the sales of diesel engines raised by 7% year-on-year. The management of the headquarter and offices emphasized on the detailed management, strengthening marketing planning, improving team collaboration, enhancing communication and service quality. Some improvements are still needed in dealing with difficulties and implementing budget plan. Gao Qiang, the general sales manager, made the review summary and proposed the works for the rest of the year.

Wu Qiwei stressed the importance of the enthusiasm and confidence to face the economy recession. He said, ‘the market has been full filled of gloom, but  our prompt systematic reaction secured the sound performance in first half of the year and it proved that we are capable to face the stress. Therefore, all of us should be confident to achieve the annual target plan in the crisis.’
 

Li Tiansheng appreciated the achievements of the whole sales team. He said that the team has been improved after experiencing the twists  and the operation efficiency and detailed management were all improved. He hopes that the sales team would successfully implement the annual target plan with enthusiasm despite soaring risks. For the marketing plan for second half year, Li Tiansheng proposed forward the ideas of ‘fixing, strategic planning, being specific, calm, professional and in-phase’. It means every office should strengthen market research, analysis and planning to make it normalized, professionalized and institutionalized.  Meanwhile, he suggested the innovative incentive scheme and the training to improve the capability of making summarized analysis and touching customers.
