Sales of Yuchai Grows 26% Jan.-July

www.chinabuses.org: In the mid-year marketing meeting, Yuchai Group made an inventory of their sales from January to July. Apart from surging sales of truck engines, sales of bus engines increased 47%, and they took 5% more market share.
Their sales in Hubei surpassed 100,000 units, similar to the sales in 2008, and sales grew 65% in Liuzhou, and in Beijing the growth was 300%. During Beijing Public Transport Company national 5 engine bidding, Yuchai won the bidding as the only domestic engine brand, taking 66% shares.
